Suge Knight Did Not Kill Battlestar Galactica's Terry Carter

On Friday, January 30, 2015, an arrest was made because "someone was tragically killed on the set of Straight Outta Compton, allegedly after being hit by a car driven by rap mogul Suge Knight....Numerous outlets, most prominently Entertainment Weekly, reported that the victim was former Battlestar Galactica star Terry Carter. Operating off this information, Cinema Blend and other outlets wrote obituaries for Terry Carter." Source.

But that actor is alive and well, and 86. The man killed is Terry Carter, 55, said to be a tow truck driver, working on the set of the film.

The other man was identified by his manager as Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, an actor and film consultant. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

Terry Carter, 86, the actor NOT allegedly killed by Surge Knight, played "Colonel Tigh" in Battlestar Galactica, from September 17, 1978, through April 29, 1979.

In a bit of a name game, during the late 1950s, Carter played Private Sugie Sugarman, on the Phil Silvers Show.

In the BSG remake, Col. Tigh was revealed to be a Cylon, one of the "Final five", and the father of them all.

Terry = man of the Earth, Terran
Carter = Rubin Carter, the boxer wrongfully accused of murder, basis of the Nelson Algren novel "The Devil's Stocking", in which there is a word-for-word transcription of the Ashtar Sheran extraterrestrial message for humanity.
Battlestar Galactica once again resonates these events with terrestrial humanity's struggle to enter outer space.
